OUDE VISMIJN
The ‘Oude Vismijn’ used to be the fish, meat and vegetable market of Ghent and is located in the most historical heart of the city. It is a unique 19th Century neo-classicistic monument designed by the former city architect Pauli. This cultural historical patrimonium will soon (Summer, 2010) reopen its doors and will be more than worth the visit! The Tourist Office of Ghent will also be installed in a part of the building. You will be able to meet and eat in our restaurant, with the magnificent view nearby the borders of the rivers, de Leie and de Lieve. But that isn’t the only asset the building will be offering.
Our two industrial halls, with a capacity between 200 and 1.200 people, will give the possibility to organize your fully equipped seminar, your unique product placement, reception, ceremonial parts,… In short: Do not hesitate…contact us, come and take a look and you will be convinced to organize your event at the ‘Oude Vismijn’!
