VLAAMSE OPERA
Commercial Director: Inge Vekeman
The Ghent Opera House with its beautiful façade was completed in 1840 and boasts an atmosphere of wealth and luxury. Many of the public halls behind the façade were designed as banquet halls: the FOYER, with its beautiful mirrors and chandeliers, the REDOUTE hall (traditionally used for festivities and balls) which visually overwhelms with its columns and monumental staircase, and the LULLY hall which architecture becomes completely subservient to the magnificent splendour of its ornaments. Finally the THEATRE itself of the Opera house can also be used for congresses and meetings.
